The work of the the Learning Community Coordinating Council (LCCC) is underway. Frequent updates will be provided to this page.

Officers were elected on Febr. 19, 2009. Rick Kolowski (represents Millard and Elkhorn) was chosen as the first Chair of the Learning Community Coordinating Council. Justin Wayne (represents OPS including north Omaha) was elected as Vice Chair. Lorraine Chang (represents the mid-city including Westside, Ralston and a portion of OPS) was selected as Secretary. Brad Burwell (represents Millard and Elkhorn as the school board representative) was named Treasurer.

Learning Community Coordinating Council to meet

The Learning Community Coordinating Council will meet on Nov. 19, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites LaVista Windsor Ballroom 1, 12520 Westport Parkway.

Subcouncil District No. 4 holds meetings

Achievement Subcouncil District No. 4 of the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties will hold a meeting on Dec. 10, 1:30 p.m., at Millard Horizon High School, 5300 George B. Lake Pkwy. (204th & Q Streets). District 4 is made up of the Millard and Elkhorn school districts.
