The work of the the Learning Community Coordinating Council (LCCC) is underway. Frequent updates will be provided to this page.

Officers were elected on Febr. 19, 2009.  Rick Kolowski (represents Millard and Elkhorn) was chosen as the first Chair of the Learning Community Coordinating Council. Justin Wayne (represents OPS including north Omaha) was elected as Vice Chair.  Lorraine Chang (represents the mid-city including Westside, Ralston and a portion of OPS) was selected as Secretary.  Brad Burwell (represents Millard and Elkhorn as the school board representative) was named Treasurer.
Announcements
Learning Community Coordinating Council to meet
On Thurs., Jan. 21, 2010, the Advisory Committee will conduct a public meeting at 4:00 p.m. and the Coordinating Council will hold a public meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the Thompson Alumni Center at UNO, 6705 Dodge Street, Omaha.  Future meetings will be held (same time and location) on Feb. 4 & 18, and March 4 & 18.  Copies of the public meeting agendas, which are kept continually current, are available for public inspection from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Learning Community office, 6949 S. 110th St., La Vista, Nebraska and on the Internet at www.learningcommunityds.org.
Subcouncil District No. 4 holds meeting
Achievement Subcouncil District No. 4 of  the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties will meet on Tues., Feb. 2, 1:30 p.m., at a location to be determined. District 4 is made up of the Millard and Elkhorn school districts.
